Steps to make Rava Idli without ENO:
  1. Take a bowl, Now add sooji, edible oil 1tsp, salt 1/2tsp (according to taste) and mix it with curd (you can replace curd with lassi)
  2. Make sure batter is not to thick or thin. Rest the batter for 3-4 hours (for best result). We leave it for rest because sooji takes time to get mix well.
  3. After 5hours of rest.Now, Greec the idli stand with edible oil. Tip- if batter goes thin add bit amount of sooji and beat it. If thick you can use curd and beat it for 2 mins.
  4. Now add 1/4 tsp black pepper and 1/6tsp bakind soad to half of the batter.
  5. We take half batter bcz baking soda gas get evaporated from the rest of the material.
  6. With the help of spoon add mixture into stand. Tip- makes sure stand bowl is fill with half of the capacity
  7. Add 1/2 bowl of water add into pressure cooker and remove the whistle from it now place the idli maker inside that.
  8. After 8 mins it get ready you can check it with the help of tooth pick and fork too.
  9. On another side, take a pan add edible oil let it heat and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, salt, corns and grean pepper (shimla mirchi)and add 1/4 bowl of water mix and heat it at low flame for 4 mins to cook it. You can also add any vegetable if you want to.
  10. Take the idli from idli maker and cut it into half and add into tardka. And leave for 2min at low flame. Now your yummy idli is ready.
  11. You can serve it with tea and ketchup if you want.
