  5. Cook until milk has reduced to half and has thickened. Paladda on cooking gets light rose hue
  6. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Switch off
  7. Heat ghee in small vessel and fry cashews until golden brown
  8. Pour the fried cashews in payasam and mix well
  9. Serve warm or cold as desired
