  1. Get 100 gm Chiwda
  2. Get 1 tea spoon Rai
  3. Take 8  -10 Curry leaves
  4. Prepare 1 Onion medium size finely chopped
  5. Make ready 1/2 Turmeric
  6. Get as per your taste Salt
  7. Get Mixture
  8. Get Peanutes (fried)
  9. Take 1 Lemon
  10. Get 1/2 Green chilli
  11. Take 1/2 table spoon Sugar

Poha. sweet poha or sweet aval is made using poha and jaggery. A quick sweet that is made during krishna ashtami & can be served as a snack. Sweet poha also makes a great snack for toddlers & kids. We also serve it as breakfast to toddlers with some milk.

Instructions to make Poha (a very light snack):
  1. Wash chewda and saok water from it. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Fry onion in one teaspoon oil. Preferably refined oil. Now add Curry leaves.
  3. Add Rai in the fried onion. Now add Chewda and mix gently.
  4. Add turmeric, salt and mix well gently. You may add sugar also if you wish to have some sweety flavour.
  5. Add fried peanuts and off the flame of your stove.
  6. Garnish with mixture and add some lemon on the top of it.
  7. Go give it a fresh flavor, add coriander leaves on the top of it.

It absorbs water very well and very quickly and so is a great option for something quick. You can find it in two varieties- Thick poha and Thin poha. Thick one comparatively takes longer to absorb water and doesn't get mushy unless soaked in water for long hence is perfect for Vegetable Poha.
