  18. Get As required Ghee

It is most famous recipe in Bihar for breakfast. Litti Chokha is a traditional dish eaten mainly in Bihar and Jharkhad. It can be had for lunch, dinner or you can make it on your holidays and you will surely love it. For the chokha bake brinjal and tomato.

Steps to make Multigrain Litti Chokha:
  1. Mix all the flours and add 1/2 spoon of ajwain and salt to taste. Add 2 spoons of ghee.
  2. Now knead the flour with water and keep aside.
  3. Roast the brinjals on the gas flame.Peel the skin after roasting and mash it.
  4. Now mash the boiled potatoes and add them to the mashed brinjals.
  5. Add the finely chopped green chillies, coriander, onion and 4pods of garlic.
  6. Add salt, 1spoon of mustard oil and mashed roasted tomatoes.
  7. Mix the chokha and keep aside.
  8. Mix the roasted gram flour and barley sattu, salt, ginger garlic chilli paste, red chilli powder, 1spoon of mustard oil and 1lemon juice and ajwain. Add finely chopped onion. Add finely chopped Coriander. Keep aside.
  9. Now take the dough add the filling of sattu and make balls or littis.
  10. Now bake these littis in barbeque or in a gas tandoor or grill in the OTG. After all the littis are baked dip them in ghee and serve with chokha.
