Litti Chokha is a delicacy from the state of Bihar made with stuffed whole wheat dough balls with roasted chana dal and spices inside. These stuffed balls are known as Litties are usually roasted over.

Instructions to make Litti chokha:
  1. Take a vessel add wheat flour salt ghee mix well add water and make a dough like of paratha.
  2. For stuffing of litti:- take a vessel put sattu and all the left spices and oil mix well. Now make peda from the dough and flatten with palm then put filling and seal it. Now cook it like tandoor on gas or can bake on otg for 20-30min. At 200°c.
  3. For chokha:- roast brinjal, tomato, onion on gas.
  4. Remove skin of brinjal tomatoes and onion and chopped them roughly. Take a pan add mustard oil add roasted onion and chopped garlic saute for few minutes then add ginger chilli paste and tomatoes mix well add salt mix well then cook for few minutes in low flame.
  5. For potato chokha:- mash boiled potatoes add rest ingredients and mix well.
  6. Serve litti, potato chokha and brinjal chokha with tomato coriander chutney.
