Dal Dosa(Adai) is one of the most well liked of recent trending foods in the world. It’s appreciated by millions every day. It is simple, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. They are nice and they look fantastic. Dal Dosa(Adai) is something which I’ve loved my entire life.
Adai recipe - Adai is a kind of dosa from tamilnadu. Adai tastes delicious and is mostly served with a chutney. Adai dosa can be made thick or thin, soft or crisp all to suit your taste.
To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have dal dosa(adai) using 14 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.
The ingredients needed to make Dal Dosa(Adai):
- Make ready 1 cup Split Gram Lentil (Thuvaram paruppu)
- Take 1 cup Raw rice
- Take 4 red chillies
- Make ready 1/2 spoon Dhaniya
- Prepare 1/2 spoon Pepper powder
- Make ready 1/2 spoon jeera powder
- Get 1/2 spoon asafoetida
- Take 4 Garlic cloves
- Prepare as per taste salt
- Prepare as required oil
- Make ready few curry leaves
- Take as required coriander leaves
- Take as required spinach
- Take 2 tsp coconut flakes
But I prefer to make it. I made a little variation from the traditional Adai recipe which is popularly made in Tamilnadu. I used Moong dal , chana dal, urad dal, thuvar dal, Masoor dal (Panchmeli Dal mix). Ingredients. adai dosa can be prepared quickly, it doesn't need fermentation and a long wait of overnight just requires soaking. adai dosa is much heavier and thicker than normal dosa. quick South-Indian style.
Instructions to make Dal Dosa(Adai):
- Take raw rice and split gram Lentil, wash and soak it in water for 3 hours separately.
- In a mixer jar put, red chilli, dhaniya, pepper, jeera, asafoetida, garlic and grind it. Then add raw rice to it and grind it well.
- Grind split gram lentil separately. Then mix both well to form a batter, add salt and leave it for 2 hours. Then add coconut flakes, leaves curry, coriander, spinach as small pieces to the batter.
- Now pour batter, in tava and prepare dosa.
- Now serve dosa with dosa powder and oil, along with jaggery.
I can have adai(adai dosa) even daily…. This version amma makes - the dosa style is my Most restaurants serve adai with aviyal but I havent tasted that combination. Dal Dosa (Masoor Dal Dosai, Toor dal Dosai, Carrot Dosai, Orange Dosai, Carrot Adai): A dosa made using any kind of dal as the main ingredient. Soak rice,urad dal and the toor dal previous night. Make it as a beautiful dosa.
