- Cover this with the lid and cook for 10-15 minutes. First on medium flame, once the water began to boil - Then lower the flame and cook for 10-15 minutes. After 15 minutes check either khichdi is cooked or not.when the khichdi is completely cooked add lemon juice of 1 lemon and switch off the flame and cover it with lid.
- After 5 minutes open the lid and yummy chana dal khichdi is ready to eat.
