- Take a pan and pour some amount of oil to it..as the oil gets heated then add all the khara masalas following the two onion and the tomatoes,as all the things changes their colour and gives the nice aroma switch off the flame and keep it for cooling.As it cools make it a nice paste.
- Take the same pan again and pour very little amount of oil and add the paste to it and add haldi,jeera, dhaniya,chilli and garam masala powder and give it a nice mix,as it starts giving bubble then add curd to it.
- After cooking for some time add the paneer pieces and stir it continously.After 2 to 3 mins as it starts leaving the oil,it's almost ready.Switch off the flame by adding some kasturi methi and for that extra healthiness add some desi ghee.Ready to serve with plain rice.
This goes well with naans, phulkas, fried rice & pulaos this dish is calcium rich as it contains paneer. Masala Khichdi is a spicy variation of simple khichdi.
