Instructions to make Grèen daal:
- Firstly take,whole moong dal, wash it properly and put in pressure cooker, add salt, turmeric and water and let it cook for 2 whistles on high flame, low the gas and cook for 15 min.
- Now for tadka take a pan, add oil or ghee,add jeera, now add garlic and ginger. Then chop the onions and cook until golden brown.
- Now add tomatoes and cook until oil releases. Now add all spices.
- Add the tadka in the daal and let it cook for another 10 min on low flame add kasuri methi and enjoy with chapati and rice.
