- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add asafoetida / hing and cumin seeds to crackle.
- Add boiled yellow moong dal /lentil and saute for 2 - 3 mins.
- Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and salt and mix well.
- Now stuffing is ready.
- Take a bowl add wheat flour,boiled spinach and salt and mix well.
- Knead to make a soft dough with the help of water.
- Keep aside for 30 mins.
- Make an equal size balls.
- Stuff the filling in the dough and roll into balls.
- Flatten the ball into thick round paratha.
- Grease a pan with clarified butter / ghee and heat on a medium flame.
- Spinach / palak dal paratha is ready to eat.
