- Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- Get 1 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- Prepare 1 tsp dhania jeera (coriander cumin)powder

Dal palak recipe is a healthy spinach dal dish made of lentils and palak. Apart from spinach, various ingredients like onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic and whole spices are used based on their choice. My recipe to make spinach dal uses minimal ingredients yet it turns out super. Dal palak is a simple recipe of cooked lentils mixed with spinach leaves and mildly seasoned.

- Wash all the 3 dals and steam in steamer.
- When it is steamed add turmeric powder and salt as per taste and whisk it with whisker, and keep aside wash the palak and blanch the palak put in cold water.
- Grind blanched palak into puree in mixer grinder, and keep aside keep chopped spring garlic, green Chili, ginger,garlic and curry leaves ready.
- Heat a pan add 1-tbsp ghee when melts add cumin and saunf, when starts cracking add curry leaves, green Chili, asafoetida, red chilli powder, dhaniajeera powder and saute for awhile
- Add palk puree mix well cook till ghee releases
- Add steamed Trevti dal mix well till merges well add 1/4- cup spring garlic and cook till 1-2 boil keep stirring continuously. Turn off gas add 1/2- lemon's juice and chopped coriander. Add 1-tbsp ghee at the end.
