- Prepare 3-4 Pipli
- Get 2-3 pieces star anise(badyan ka phool)
- Get 1/2 tbsp cloves
- Prepare 1/2 tsp nutmeg(jaifal)
- Prepare 1/2 tsp mace(javetri)
- Make ready 2 big pieces cinnamon
- Take 3-4 whole or ground 1 tbsp Deigee mirch
- Take 1 tsp (optional) paprika
- Prepare 1/2 tsp citric acid
- Get 1 tsp black salt
- Get 1 cup or more oil if you like taree on top
- Take 1 1/2 cup+2tbsp oil Roasted whole wheat flour
- Take 5-6 tez paat in addition to the one in nihari masala
In a cooking pot, add cooking oil, onion, cumin and fry until light brown. After that add ginger & garlic paste and cook until light brown. Nihari gosht is seriously tasty beef stew Indian style. If you really don't feel like making nihari masala you can buy it.

- Grind all the whole masala into a fine powder. Make yakhni of bones with little salt, turmeric and red chillies, remove bones when it is done.
- Take a big pan and add oil and meat. Put gg paste, tez paat and saute for a minute or two. Now add ground nihari masala and saute for 4 to 5 min.
- Add yakhni of bones and large quantity of water in the pan.
- When it starts to boil then slow the flame and leave it for 2 to 3 hrs until the meat is tender or pressure cook it for approx 30 min on medium heat.
