Steps to make Jackfruit Fritters or gaarige:
  1. Soak raw rice in water for 2 hours and drain.
  2. Grind soaked raw rice, jackfruit, jaggery and coconut grated to a thick paste without adding water.
  3. To this batter add roasted coconut bits and pinch of salt too and mix.
  4. Heat a kadai and pour oil for deep frying.
  5. Scoop out a tbsp of this thick batter and drop into the oil and fry them nicely till golden brown.
