Steps to make Ras Malai:
- Boil Milk and sugar in a pan. Simmer the heat when it starts boiling and stir in condensed milk. Keep boiling on low heat and in the meanwhile prepare the dough.
- In a bowl, sift the milk powder and baking powder thoroughly. Add the cardamom powder. Mix it the melted butter and beaten egg and knead to a soft dough.
- Make balls out it to the size of a lemon and press the lightly and drop it into the boiling milk in one go.
- Cook on low flame for about 10 minutes. Add the vanilla essence and remove from stove.
