- Turn off the heat, add in the rice, and mix well. When you are using refrigerated or frozen rice, warm it up before adding it to the pan.
- Transfer into a heatproof dish, sprinkle with the pizza cheese, and bake in the oven for about 15 minutes at 250℃ until the surface has browned.
- When baked, sprinkle with parsley, and enjoy.
When I tried the way shown here, it turned out to be a lot easier even though it was just as tasty. The Japanese have their own version for Gratin called Doria which is prepared with rice, especially leftover rice. It is said it was first invented by an Italian Scoop out and set aside. You may of course add such vegetables as sweet pimentoes, etc. The Japanese make their doria with chicken usually.
