- Take a thick plastic sheet and grease it with oil. Take a lemon sized dough.
- Now grease your fingers and make the dough flat or a circular shaped maddur vada.
- Take a wok or frying pan and put the oil for deep frying. Once the oil is hot, drop the flattened dough carefully into the oil.
- Fry maddur vada or maddur vade one by one in medium flame in order to get crispy vadas.
- Serve them with coconut/peanut chutney and tea.
