  18. Prepare 2 tbsp fresh cream
  19. Make ready 1 tbsp Kasori Methi(dry fenugreek leaves)

No one will believe it's not take-out! Butter chicken is an Indian dish that originated in Delhi. Small pieces of chicken are marinated with spices, ginger, and garlic. They then get cooked until tender in a creamy, mildly spiced.

Steps to make Butter Chicken:
  1. Take 200gm boneless chicken pieces in a bowl.
  2. Add 1 tsp black pepper and salt as per taste.
  3. Now add 1 tsp turmeric powder,1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste,2 tbsp yoghurt.
  4. Mix it well and keep it for 30 mins.
  5. Take a pan,heat some oil.
  6. Add the marrinated chicken pieces into the pan.
  7. Fry it until it looks golden brown in colour.
  8. Now make the gravy.Take a pan,put 7-8 cashew nuts.Then add chopped onion.
  9. Add 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste, chopped tomato,salt as per taste.cover it for 2 mins.
  10. Now cool down the masala and put into the mixture jar and add 1/2 cup water.
  11. Make a smooth paste.
  12. Now take a pan,put 1 tsp butter.
  13. Now add the gravy and cook for 2 mins.Add 1 cup water.
  14. Now add the fried chicken pieces and cook for 10 mins.
  15. Now add 1-2 tsp sugar and salt as per taste.
  16. Sprinkle some Kasori Methi.
  17. Put 1 tbsp fresh cream and cover it.
