- Firstly,in a kadai heat 1tsp butter
- Add bay leaves and garam masala
- Blend to smooth paste of tomato,ginger and onion
- Keeping the flame on low add 1/4 turmeric,1 chilli powder 1/4 cumin powder.saute until the spices turn aromatic without burning
- Further add 1 cup water,1/2 tspn sugar and 1 tsp salt.mix well adjusting consistency as reguired
- Add 2 tbsp cream and mix well.
- Now add cubes of paneer and mix well.firstly wash paneer and fry in pan with butter
- Cover it and leave 10 minutes.add 2 tbsp methi and 1/2 garam masala.mix well. Finally Enjoy paneer butter masala with roti,naan or paratha
