  1. Get 250 gms self raising Flour
  2. Take 250 gms castor sugar
  3. Get 250 gms butter
  4. Make ready 5 medium eggs
  5. Get 1 tbs boiling hot water
  6. Make ready 1 tsp vanilla essence
  7. Make ready 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate
  8. Make ready 1 cup Cream
  9. Take 2 cups Coconut powder

  1. Preheat your oven at 180° C for 20 min. Now, Beat egg and sugar till frothy

  4. Finally add hot boiling water. To the mixture, and transfer the vanilla cake batter to the greased baking tray and bake it for approx 15-20 min/ or use a knife to check if it is completely baked by inserting the knife in the cake, if it comes out clean than you are ready to go, if it's sticky and not clean then u need to bake for some more time,
  5. Now boil your cream by continuously stirring it, and remove from the flame. Immediately add grated chocolate to it and leave it for some time and after a minute mix it using a spatula, meanwhile leave you baked vanilla sponge to cool down for 2 hours before demolding,
  6. Take the cooled vanilla sponge and cut it into 1"x 1" squares and dip it into the chocolate ganache and further into powdered coconuts. Make all the cakes similarly and keep it in a refrigerator to cool.
  7. Serve these beautiful cakes with evening tea.
