These sweet biscuits are popularly known as shankarpali in Maharashtra, shakarpara in Gujarat, kalakala in Tamil Nadu, sweet tukdi in North India and teepi maida biscuits in Andhra Pradesh. - Heat oil/ghee in a pan and then fry them first in high flame and then in low. So that it is cooked till inside.
