How to make spaghetti jollof recipe hello fam welcome back to my channel, in this video i will be sharing with you guys how to make spaghetti or pasta. I had tried to make jollof spaghetti in the past, and it was not a success! It tasted okay, but it was missing that special "jollof-ness" for some reason.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook jollof spaghetti and beans using 11 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Jollof Spaghetti and Beans:
  1. Get 1 packet spaghetti
  2. Prepare 3 cups beans
  3. Take 1 Seasoning Cube(knorr)
  4. Prepare 1 Sachet Seasoning powder (Mivina)
  5. Get 1 medium Onions
  6. Prepare 4 large Fresh red pepper
  7. Make ready 1/4 cup groundnut oil
  8. Take 1 Sachet Gino Tomatoes
  9. Prepare 1/2 cup Crayfish
  10. Prepare Salt
  11. Take 3 Eggs

Note: My mixed vegetables consist of Carrots, Green Beans, and Sweet Peas but feel free to use any choice of Vegetables. Jollof Spaghetti or Spaghetti Jollof is a quick meal, that got it's name from the popular Nigerian Jollof Rice. Jollof Spaghetti is quite easy to prepare and can be made with or without vegetables. Growing up, Jollof spaghetti was one of the first dishes I cooked.

Steps to make Jollof Spaghetti and Beans:
  1. Pick and wash beans and place in a clean pot. Parboil beans for 15minutes and drain water. Put fresh clean water into the beans and cook till soft.
  2. Parboil spaghetti for 10minutes and drain the water. Set Aside.
  3. Heat oil and fry tomatoes with onions and a pinch of salt till tomato is done. Add water, grounded crayfish, mivina Sachet, seasoning cube, salt to taste, fresh grounded pepper and stir. Cook mixture for 3minutes.
  4. Add beans and spaghetti into the mixture and stir. Cook till water dries out.
  5. Serve with boiled Egg.

I used to cook it with all kinds of protein; from dry fish to liver to shaki. Yes Shaki 🙂 And for this recipe, I kind of recreated my recipe with a little improvement on the sauce and technique. I used to make my Jollof pasta differently. Spaghetti is a kind of pasta which is long, slender and cylindrical and is usually made from wheat flour. We all know that pasta is native to the Italians.
