There is a layer of I have used coriander chutney in the sandwiches, but you can skip it and use mayonnaise or a cheese spread. You can be innovative and make your own. This sandwich is my go to recipe when i have no veggies on hand. I always have a packet of cheese on hand because i never know when i will feel like having something cheesy.
Steps to make Club cheese chilla sandwich:
- Take Besan in a container, add Kasuri Methi, salt, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder and water and get medium consistency batter.
- Take all salads, paneer, cheese in a bowl add salt, black pepper powder and mix well.
- Dip the bread slices in the chilla batter, flip it and coat it properly on both the sides. Place it on a preheated nonstick tawa. Place another slice adjacent to the first slice after dipping in the batter. Apply oil and let it cook for 2 minutes.
- Flip the side. Apply green chutney on one slice and Tomato ketchup on the other slice. Place stuffing on the side where we have applied the green chutney.
- Put the other slice on in and cook till crispy. Flip other side and cook till crispy.
- Enjoy your sandwich with green chutney and tomato ketchup.
