- Get 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste or grated
- Take 3-4 tablespoons Oil
- Make ready 2 tablespoons Chopped coriander leaves
- Take 1 tablespoon Sugar (optional)
- Take 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
Steps to make Gathiya-tomato curry|moti sev -tamatar ki sabji:
- Heat a pan.add 3-4 tablespoon oil. Once the oil gets hot add a pinch of hing (asafoetida). Add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let it crackle. Now add curry leaves.
- Add grated(or paste) garlic -ginger.mix it. Saute ti for 1 minute.
- Now add chopped onion. Add 1/2 tablespoon salt,1 tablespoon coriander powder,1/2 tablespoon garam masala, turmeric powder and sugar(optional).
- Add 1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder. Mix it. Cook it until the onion becomes golden brown. Add chopped tomato.
- Mix it well.Cover it until tomato becomes soft.
- Add 1 cup of water. Now add gathiya in the gravy. Cook it for 2-3 minutes.
- At last, add chopped coriander leaves. our delicious gathiya tomato curry is ready to serve.
