- Use the same pot to make the gravy, take excess oil out of the pot, only required 2 tbsp of oil into the pot.
- Add sliced onions. Cook it for 2-3 mins. Add ginger & garlic. Let it cook till golden brown. Add cumin powder, tomatoes and salt per taste. Cook it for another 5 min on medium heat. Add 1/2 cup of water then add fried chicken.
- Mix it all together, serve it in the serving dish. Garnish with fresh chopped coriander. Enjoy.
- For lentils (Daal)
- Wash the lentils under the cold tap water for 3 -4 times to take any excess starch out.
- Place a pot on the medium heat. Add 1 tbsp oil. Add sliced garlic and ginger. Cook for 40 seconds or until little brown.
- Add lentils, salt and mix it together. Add water and turmeric. Let it simmer on low heat for 15-20mins. Should you required more water then add little more. Don’t add too much water.
- Serve with rice, papadum, pickle or your choice of naan bread or tandoori roti.
