- Put a pan on gas,let it hot,then put butter on hot pan,put mustards and curry leaves,green chillies to it and let it crackle.
- Add onions,chilli powder or idli podi powder,a little salt to it,saute for 1-2 mins then add small cut idlis to it,fry them for 2-3 mins,then add chopped tomatoes and salt to it..and fry them till the tomatoes become succulent,it adds a good red,spicy colour to the idli.
