- Heat oilin a pan on a medium flame.

- Once the onion is golden brown add ginger garlic paste & saute for few second.
- Add drained whole masoor & soaked rice & mix well.
- Add boil water, goda masala, salt, lemon juice, sugar & allow it to cook till the water evaporates.
- Once the water evaporates cover it with lid & allow it to cook for another 5 to 7 minutes.
