The ingredients needed to make Sarva Pindi:
  1. Take 3 cups rice flour
  2. Take 1/4 cup chana dal (Bengal gram lentil), soaked overnight
  3. Prepare 1 onion, chopped
  4. Get 2 green chilies, chopped (optional)
  5. Get 1 tsp. ginger-garlic paste
  6. Take 1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
  7. Take 2 sprig curry leaves, chopped
  8. Get 2 tbsp. sesame seeds, dry roasted
  9. Take 1 tsp. cumin seeds
  10. Prepare 2 tbsp. fresh grated coconut
  11. Get 2 tbsp. roasted peanuts, coarsely ground
  12. Get to taste salt
  13. Make ready 1/2 tsp. red chili powder (optional)
  14. Take as needed oil to shallow fry

Sarva Pindi is also called Ginnappa. It is made by rice flour and sesame seeds. Sarva Pindi is a delicious Indian recipe served as a Main. Find the complete instructions on oil as needed.

Instructions to make Sarva Pindi:
  1. Mix together all the above mentioned ingredients.
  2. Prepare a dough with required quantity of water. Cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Divide into 4-5 equal portions. On a greased pan / tawa, spread into a big circle just like chapati with the tip of your fingers. Keep sprinkling some water while working on it. Make few holes on it and drizzle oil in them.
  4. Cover and fry on a low flame till one side is done before flipping it over.
  5. Serve with coconut chutney / pickles or as an evening tea-time snack.

Mix all the ingredients with water and make dough. Sarva Pindi/tapala chekka (Rice flour Pan cake). To prepare this dish I used a separate bowl,the bowl is specially made for saruva pindi. But you can also use a non-stick. Sarva Pindi also known as sarvappa, ginnappa is a savory snacks from the region of Telengana of Andhra Pradesh.
