- Wash the Dal and soak for half an hour and pressure cook it till soft and keep aside.

- Then add curry leaves, chopped green chilli,onion and fry till they leave the raw smell.
- Now add the dry masala powders,salt and fry then add chopped tomatoes,mix well and cook till soft.
- Now add the cooked masoor dal and sufficient water.Bring it to a boil.Check salt and spices add if required.
