  2. Next heat oil in a pan. - Add cumin seeds and allow to crackle.
  3. Next add finely chopped onion and saute till translucent. - Add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes off. - Then add turmeric powder, goda masala, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and mix everything well.
  4. Add tomatoes and cook till they become mushy - Cook for 1-2 minutes till masala releases oil. - Now add tamarind pulp and the boiled sprouts.
  5. Give a nice mix and then add water (1-2 cup). - Allow to simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the desired consistency is reached.
  6. For serving - Cut the paav from the middle and butter them - Place paav on hot pan and let them be brown and crispy on low flame.
  7. Take misal in a bowl. Sprinkle some Farsan, chopped onions and coriander leaves for Garnish.
  8. Squeeze some lemon juice and serve with buttered paav
