Instructions to make Grèen daal:
  1. Firstly take,whole moong dal, wash it properly and put in pressure cooker, add salt, turmeric and water and let it cook for 2 whistles on high flame, low the gas and cook for 15 min.
  2. Now for tadka take a pan, add oil or ghee,add jeera, now add garlic and ginger. Then chop the onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. Now add tomatoes and cook until oil releases. Now add all spices.
  4. Add the tadka in the daal and let it cook for another 10 min on low flame add kasuri methi and enjoy with chapati and rice.
