The ingredients needed to make Makai Dano:
  1. Prepare 1 kg makai / corn - grated
  2. Take 1 litre milk - lukewarm
  3. Get 1 tspoon jeera
  4. Take 2 tablespoon desi ghee
  5. Make ready Salt as per taste
  6. Get 5/6 garlic cloves finely chopped
  7. Get 5/6 green chillies finely chopped
  8. Get 1/4 bowl coriander leaves finely chopped

Instructions to make Makai Dano:
  1. Grate 1 kg corn in thali. Now in a pan put ghee and once hot add jeera,let it splutter then add finely chopped garlic and let it become pink,now add grated corn and saute till nice aroma comes and it changes colour. Do procedure on slow flame only.
  2. Now slowly start adding milk and gently mix the grated corn mixture with milk and let it cook for minimum 5 minutes. Then add salt,green chillies and cook on slow flame till it leaves the edges.
  3. Here it can be seen that the Dano is ready as it has already left the edges to stick. Now remove in serving bowl by adding coriander leaves and eat hot in this cold weather.
