This green moong dal recipe is one of those dals I make often. Just that I never clicked the pics and shared. I also make urad dal in a similar way. The taste of this green gram curry is like a home-cooked dal and really goes well with rotis or steamed rice.

Steps to make Green dal with boiled rice:
  1. Soak rice and dal in different bowls in water and wash it. Rinse rice.Take one pan fill water in it add salt
  2. Whan water starts to boil add rice. When it's start boiling keep it in low flame till rice cooked
  3. Now take sieves remove extra water. Rice is ready
  4. Now take cooker add green dal and tomato, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, ginger. And cover the lid for whistle
  5. After 3 whistle off the flame and let the cooker open.
  6. Now open cooker lid and mix dal with whisker. Now take one bowl for tadka add oil in it. Than add cumin seeds, hing and Red chilli powder
  7. Add tadka into the dal. Now dal rice is ready to serve
