- Get 10 mini idlies
- Get 1 onion chopped
- Prepare 1 green chilli chopped
- Take 2 table spoon butter
- Take 2 teaspoon idli podi / gun powder
- Make ready 1 teaspoon Kashmir chilli powder
- Prepare 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Take 1 table spoon chopped coriander leaves

Instructions to make Masala idli:
- In a kadai heat one table spoon butter and fry the idlys golden colour.
- Keep the idlys in a plate.
- Again add a table spoon butter to the kadai. Heat it.
- Add the onions, fry it for 2 minutes.
- Add Kashmir chilli powder, idly podi and fry one minute. Add salt and stir.
- Add the idlys and stir.. fry for 2 minutes.
- Serve the fried idlys in a bowl, sprinkle the coriander leaves on it.
