- Get 1 large onion (sliced)
- Take 1/2 teaspoon food colour
- Take Coriander leaves /pudina leaves for garnishing

- Prepare 2 cups curd
- Make ready 1/2 cup Cucumber (diced)
- Take 1/2 cup Onion (diced)
- Take 1/2 cup tomato (diced)
- Take 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- Prepare 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- Get 1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
- Get 1 teaspoon salt
- Make ready 1/2 cup water
Cover and refrigerate the raita until ready to use. Add onion, ginger, turmeric, chili powder, cauliflower, and carrot. Add the chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder and mix well. Then add the tomatoes, shallots, and cucumber.

- First prepare the veggies…heat oil in kadhai…add whole Spices and then add ginger garlic paste and onion paste together…cook until onions start leaving oil..and it turns golden brown
- Add tomato puree and green chillies paste…and add salt and dry masalas together…cook it for 4-5 mins
- Then add all the veggies…and cook it covered for 5 mins on low flame…let it cook on medium flame until the veggies are soft…once it is done switch off the gas and keep it aside
- In a open vessel add rice and add 5 cups of water…add whole Spices-cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves,cloves…and 1 teaspoon salt..cook the rice 90% don't over cook it…once rice is cooked strain the water and add desi ghee and keep aside
- In a microwave safe container which has lid…start making the layers…fir layer will be of rice…then second will be of veggies which u have prepared earlier..then third will be of rice…then fourth of veggies and last layer will be of rice…make 5 layers in total…cover it with lid and seal it with Dough…and microwave it for 3 minutes….
- In a pan heat 1 tablespoon oil add sliced onions and cook it till it is golden brown and crispy…take it out in a tissue
- Open the lid of biryani… garnish it with fried onions, coriander and add 1 tablespoon of food colour…and serve it hot
- For raita add all the ingredients…add water as per you like the consistency…then add dry masalas and salt…and add onions, tomatoes and cucumber…serve it with biryani
